My dearest Dad, you gave me the best childhood and life that any Father ever could, full of wonderful loving and fun memories and support. You put everything into being my Dad and would often tell me how proud you were of me. I am heartbroken that you had to live with this terrible and cruel disease for so many years and I watched you struggle every day to hold onto your precious memories and cope with your declining health. I am grateful for the many years we had together. I am glad you are no longer suffering or scared and that you never did give in (as you always lived by your school motto “never give in”) until you finally got too sick. I will miss our impromptu chats, your silly humour, your unwavering confidence in me and your unconditional love. I will miss you more than I can express in words, until we are reunited in heaven. Love always from your “treasured heart”, your forever devoted daughter, Sharon ♥️
